PIA ANNOUNCES FINE TO A CHAIN-SMOKER

The chain-smoker caught in a PIA flight. A passenger that is traveling on a (PIA) Pakistani International Flight was charged 10,000 PKR fine. The reason for this penalty is that he violated the flight rules and smoked during flight. You may all know that it is prohibited during flight. He was a British-Pakistani passenger.

According to details that British-Pakistani passenger named Raza Ahsan have boarded PIA’s PK 792 en route from Birmingham to Islamabad. Also, it is informed that the chain-smoker Ahsan could not control his urge due to the intense habit and started smoking in the aircraft’s lavatory. He would have smoked one cigarette or two when the other passengers felt the smoke in the plane. As, the passengers complained to the crew about the smoke coming out, and he was caught. The team made him come out of the toilet, grabbed him, and confiscated his passport later. Moreover, when the plane landed, the Airport Security Force (ASF) thoroughly investigated and detained the chain-smoker at the Islamabad International Airport. The person received his passport back after paying 10,000 PKR fine for making the plane in danger.

Therefore, PIA officials say that for inflight smoking, this is the first penalty in the history of PIA. The official also said that this law violence could lead to a disastrous situation or result. International aviation laws were also against the act of inflight smoking.

So, Chain-smoking or smoking habit is increasing day by day in our youth. If we analyze this situation deep down, we can imagine the disastrous results of it. It is not only destroying the smoker’s health but also killing people and cases like that. So, we should take some steps to end this habit from our people. Lastly, It is a thing to consider that If no airlines allow matchbox, lighter, or any other thing to ignite the fire, how can this person was able to light up the cigarette? Airlines should also improve its security checking at airports. What are your views on this? Kindly share your ideas in the comment section below.
